Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Saathi mobile application and related services (together, the “App” or “Saathi”), published and operated by DT IT Solutions Private Limited. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using Saathi, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1.Who we are

Saathi is published and operated by DT IT Solutions Private Limited (“DT IT Solutions”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013.

2.Eligibility and accounts

2.1 You must be 18 or older

Saathi is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the App. The App is not directed at, and we do not knowingly permit its use by, persons under 18. By using Saathi, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we learn that a person under 18 has created an account, we may suspend or delete it.

2.2 Your account

To use most features you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your account, and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to notify us promptly at info@dtitglobal.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to keep your access credentials secure.

3.The service Saathi provides

Saathi is a Hindu spiritual practice companion rooted in the Sanatan Dharma tradition. Depending on the features you choose to use, the App may offer:

• a scripture-grounded conversational guide powered by artificial intelligence, including optional voice input;
• daily practice tools such as japa (mantra) tracking, sadhana (practice) logs, and scripture reading with bookmarks;
• Vedic birth-chart (kundali) computation and related reports based on birth details you provide;
• daily horoscope and panchang (almanac) information;
• a “Temples Near You” discovery feature that uses your device location while the App is in use.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. The specific features available to you may vary by device, region, and app version.

4.Acceptable use

You agree to use Saathi lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you agree that you will not:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its servers, or any account, system, or network connected to it;
• interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to circumvent any security, rate-limiting, or usage-limit features of the App;
• use automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) to access the App or extract its content, except as expressly permitted;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
• submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene, defamatory, or that infringes the rights of others;
• attempt to manipulate, misuse, or extract the underlying AI models, prompts, or systems, or use the App to develop a competing product;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
• use the App in a way that could harm, disable, or impair it, or interfere with any other user’s use of it.

We may investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole judgement, violates this section, including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts.

5.AI-generated content

Saathi’s guide uses artificial intelligence. When you send a message, the App retrieves passages of scripture relevant to your question and sends them, together with your message and relevant profile context, to a third-party AI provider that generates a response. You understand and agree that:

• AI-generated responses are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation;
• responses are intended for spiritual reflection and education, and you should apply your own judgement before relying on them;
• the same or similar questions may produce different responses, and responses do not represent the views of DT IT Solutions;
• you are responsible for how you choose to act on any content the App provides.

6.No professional advice & astrology disclaimer

Saathi provides spiritual, devotional, and astrological content for personal reflection and education only. It does not provide, and must not be relied upon as, medical, mental-health, psychological, legal, financial, tax, or any other professional advice. Nothing in the App creates a professional relationship between you and DT IT Solutions.

Astrological content — including kundali charts, horoscopes, dasha periods, dosha analysis, and remedial suggestions — is offered as part of a traditional spiritual and cultural practice. It is provided for guidance, interest, and reflection, and is not a prediction of, or guarantee about, future events or outcomes. You should not make significant medical, legal, financial, relationship, or life decisions based solely on content from the App.

7.Your content and licence

“Your Content” means the information and material you provide to the App — for example, your messages, spiritual profile, birth details, practice logs, bookmarks, and feedback. As between you and us, you retain ownership of Your Content.

You grant DT IT Solutions a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, reproduce, and transmit Your Content solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the App for you — for example, to generate responses, compute your charts, personalise guidance, and maintain your practice history — and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except for content already shared with the service providers described in the Privacy Policy, or that we must retain to comply with law. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to provide it.

8.Our intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, user interface, text, graphics, logos, the “Saathi” name and branding, curated scripture presentation, and other materials we provide (excluding Your Content and third-party or public-domain materials), is owned by or licensed to DT IT Solutions and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial spiritual practice, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Scriptural texts themselves are part of a shared spiritual heritage; our rights extend to our particular selection, arrangement, translation choices, commentary, and presentation, not to the underlying sacred texts.

9.Fees, free tier, and future paid features

Saathi is currently offered free of charge. To keep the service sustainable, certain features are subject to fair-use daily or lifetime limits (for example, a limit on the number of AI messages per day and on complimentary detailed reports). We may change these limits at any time.

We may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases in future versions. If we do, the applicable prices and terms will be presented to you before you are charged, and any purchase you make through an app store will also be subject to that store’s payment terms. Purchases of digital goods and services within the App may be processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play in accordance with their policies; other purchases, where offered, may be processed by a payment provider we identify at the time.

10.Third-party services and app stores

Saathi relies on third-party service providers (for example, for hosting, authentication, AI processing, transcription, maps, and monitoring), as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these providers beyond our own obligations to you.

You obtain the App through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and your use is also subject to that store’s terms. Where required by Apple, you agree that: these Terms are between you and DT IT Solutions (not Apple); Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App; and, to the extent permitted by law, Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you. Any App Store or Google Play claim regarding the App should be directed to us at info@dtitglobal.com.

11.Availability, changes, and beta features

We work to keep Saathi available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. Some features may be offered on a trial, preview, or “beta” basis and may be changed or withdrawn. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App or any feature.

12.Suspension and termination

You may stop using Saathi and delete your account at any time from within the App, or by contacting us at info@dtitglobal.com. Deleting your account removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the App, to other users, or to us. Where practicable and lawful, we will give you notice. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — will survive.

13.Disclaimers of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, that its content (including AI-generated and astrological content) will be accurate or reliable, or that any defects will be corrected. Any material you access through the App is used at your own discretion and risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DT IT Solutions and its directors, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the App or your reliance on any content it provides, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us, if any, for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 1,000 (one thousand Indian Rupees). Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

15.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DT IT Solutions and its directors, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms or any applicable law, or your infringement of the rights of any third party, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

16.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App. We encourage you to contact us first at info@dtitglobal.com so we can try to resolve any concern informally.

17.Grievance officer and contact

In accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, you may contact our Grievance Officer for any complaint regarding the App or content:

We will acknowledge complaints within the timeframes required by applicable law and work to resolve them promptly. For privacy-specific requests, please also see the Grievance Officer section of our Privacy Policy.

18.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of Saathi after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, please stop using the App and delete your account.

19.General terms

• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
• Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, on notice to you.
• No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, agency, or employment relationship between you and us.
